  22. A vote for HH is a vote for GBM the father of bafikala, a vote for William Banda the father of vigilantee politics. We can’t go back to cage fighting politics. HH is arrogant and GBM and William Banda are violent. So the choice was clear Lungu for a better and peaceful Zambia

I am saddened that you want the current socio-economic context to continue. Either you are two of the small minority enjoying a very comfortable living through corruption, OR you just love seeing and living in poverty and therefore you would love to see your poverty continue. Fine. It’s your choice.

  35. I voted also for HH GBM and UPND. After voting we saw three trucks loaded with soldiers in full riot gear who looked too dark to be Zambians coming from the south. The people were brave even to insult them. This is because we have never voted with soldiers in full combat gear. If Edgar does not prefer voting, we are also ready to meet him in the battle front.

  36. The Electoral Commission of Zambia ECZ with Priscilla Isaac is not competent. In Chilanga also voting may be going on even in the night. ECZ has not provided enough lines to allow people to vote with dignity. I was in the Que for over four hours. I am of the view that this is one of the plans by ECZ to discourage people from voting.

  37. ECZ should be properly audited. They were given a lot of money by EU for elections. However that money has not been used properly to recruit enough election workers so that voting takes place within the stipulated times. It is reported through the grape vine that the money was spent or given to commissioners and those that work for ECZ. THe new Government should also audit the commission properly.

  44. ECZ MUST NOT CHEAT. THEY ARE DELIBERATELY DELAYING TO RELEASE THE REMAINING BALLOT NUMBERS FROM HH’s STRONG SUPPORT AREAS SO THAT DURING THE LULL, THEY RIG. WE KNOW THIS EVIL, DIABOLICAL SCHEME BECAUSE LUNGU & PF KNOW, JUST AS WE KNO, THAT THEY CANNOT WIN ON A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.

  45. Will someone or some people with a patriotic conscience please stop the evil, diabolical ECZ/PF scheme of rigging? Please stop them! Do not just think of yourself and your family only please. Think of a Zambia that is pleasant and pleasing for everyone (not just for a rich few) to live in. A Zambia in which you can afford decent daily meals, pay school fees for your kids, pay Zesco bills easily, buy yourself a nice car, etc. Let’s give UPND a chance. We gave PF a chance but they have messed up massively.

  46. Kabimba is a very dull lawyer. No wonder they say that he never won a single case in court. If he is truly in the opposition, the best he can do is to advise his members if he has any not to participate in the referendum. His fellow politicians have already told us that this so called referendum is designed to slow down the process of counting real votes and facilitate rigging of the elections. There is therefore no need to participate in the referendum. Period.
