Zambia records 32 cases of coronavirus in the last five days

Ministry of health Permanent Secretary, Dr Kennedy Malama says Zambia has recorded 32 cases of coronavirus out of 3361 tests conducted in the last five days.

Giving the 62nd national update on the coronavirus, Malama said 132 patients have also been discharged.

The cumulative number of cases now stands at 1089, with 912 recoveries and 7 deaths.

About 170 are active cases being monitored by the ministry of health.

Dr Malama urged members of the public to continue observing the necessary health measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
