Zambia has made it into the top 15 tourism destinations in Africa after being ranked 12th by Inbound Tourism.

Inbound tourism concept is an important form of tourism which many countries rely heavily on, as the demand from inbound tourists fuel the development and operations of their tourism economy.

It’s importance is largely because of the economic benefits as it can bring in a lot of money to a country through foreign exchange.

This is particularly beneficial in countries where the currency is weaker than the currency of the tourists’ home countries.

Meanwhile, neighboring Zimbabwe which boasts of housing Victoria Falls, Great Zimbabwe, Kariba, Nyanga, Mana Pools, Hwange National Park, Chinhoyi Caves & more failed to make it to the top 30 African tourist destinations.
