Zambia goes to vote divided

Zambia goes to the polls today and as things stand we are at the crossroads, the nation is divided on 2 fronts politically and tribalism, writes Andy Kas.

For the first time in the history of our nation this election has attracted so much attention within and outside Zambia and thats what makes it unique.

As we go to cast our votes we ought to bear in mind that there’s a life beyond this election and we are one people who are beautifully created in the sight of God and embedded with a sense of peace and love for each other.

This election will bring about shocking results to what most expect but we must remain steadfast because God is in control over the leadership of our nation. In the words of wisdom with which our heroes resighted the “one zambia, one nation” slogan in the spirit of togetherness. God bless Zambia.

  2. I was nauseated to read in the Post for today RB saying people must respect the outcome of the election. RB is like a female dog on perpertual heat (sorry), the man is a huge piece of garbage. Chikawalala chimudala ichi nor wonder he has no respect among his peers. Because of his lack of tact in life he lost the Presidency as a result of sorrounding himself with non entities like Peter Daka, Dorah Siliya (Matako Matako) and getting rid of the likes of VJ. Now he feels people let him donw when the man is just comical. He was just drinking, flying around and playing with these young matako women you know, forgot to read his intelligence briefings and lo and behold the end came. He cried like a baby to a point of almost coming out of his bedroom naked. He is the most tribal element in Zambia today, no shame he can take the stance he took. BIRDS OF THE FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER

  3. @ ThisisOurTime, I think you are doing injustice to your souk, body and mind by giving in too much to hatred. RB has the democratic right to endorsese and invest his support in anycandidate. You shoul appreciate him that he won the friendships of Presudents Kagame, Dos Antos, Jonathan, Kiwete and Zuma to cheerfully support EL making the race rally competitive
