Zambia-Brazil Tourism Online Project launched to promote destination marketing

A Brazilian company that promotes Africa’s tourist attractions has launched the Zambia-Brazil Tourism Online Project aimed at promoting the Southern African country’s natural wonders in South America.

The Brazilian Premier Tourism Club launched the Online Tourism Project on October 24th to honour Zambia on its 56th Independence Anniversary.

The Website for the Tourism Online Project has been named Zambia Tourismo at a colorful ceremony that took place during a virtual meeting in Brasilia.

In August this year the Brazilian Premier Tourism Club at a tourism Expo expressed interest to partner with Zambia in marketing the country as the best tourism destinations in Africa after learning of the country’s rich tourist attractions.

The online tourism project is an innovative way of promoting African Countries in Brazil and other South American countries in order to create maximum interest for South Americans to take holidays in Zambia and other African Countries.

And Zambia Tourism Agency Chief Executive Officer Felix Chaila expressed excitement over the launch of the Zambia- Brazil tourism website which will go a long way in marketing Zambia’s tourism sector to South Americans.

Chaila advised Brazilians as well as other South Americans to visit Zambia and sample the unique and rich tourism attractions the country is endowed with.

Zambia’s Ambassador to Brazil Dr Alfreda Kansembe-Mwamba, at the beginning of this year embarked on routine marketing of Zambia’s tourism sector to South Americans.

Meanwhile Director of Premier Tourism Club Sergio Jose Maciura is pleased that Zambia- Brazil Tourism Website has finally been launched.

Sergio said was happy with the overwhelming response from many Brazilians and other South Americans who are learning about Zambia’s rich tourism attractions that the world needs to learn about.
