Dr. Ludwig Sondashi has warned the people of Kasama and Northern Province at large that voting for the Patriotic Front (PF) Presidential candidate Edgar Lungu on the 20th January Presidential by-election will be suicidal.

And the FDA leader has called on the people to accord presidential aspirants a chance to market themselves to the electorates so that they can be able to make informed decisions.

Speaking when he addressed supporters at President’s Park in Kasama today, the FDA President says that young people needed to be tutored by experienced politicians like him before aspiring to be Presidents of Zambia.

Dr. Sondashi has charged that nobody in the Patriotic Front or any other presidential aspirant can surpass his experience in governance issues, having worked in governments in different portfolios staring from the Kaunda era.
He has advised the Zambian people to take some time and read the FDA manifesto.

He adds that his 35 years clean record in politics has made him understand that what Zambia was lacking is visionary leadership and that he was more qualified to take this country forward in the right direction.

“An FDA government will remove the tax burden on the elderly by exempting retired and unemployed people over the age of 60 years on rates and other government taxes”

Dr. Sondashi has also promised job creation for the many unemployed youths through various agricultural reforms which he will implement when elected President.

Speaking at the same meeting, FDA General Secretary Wesley Miyanda has called on parties that they should advise their members to desist from engaging in violent activities when conducting their campaigns, adding that the peace which Zambia has enjoyed for the past 50 years should not be disturbed because of an election.
