Yo Maps releases ‘instant hit’ Aweah

The most celebrated Zambian artiste lton Mulenga popularly known as Yo Maps has released a new song that seems to respond to his critics (Displinary Committee).

Yo Maps who has faced a lot of public humiliation as result of his conduct responded with the song “Aweah” which translates to “don’t”

Some have been singling out his manager DJ Kandeke and his wife, advising him to tame the duo.

During the 2022 awards, Yo Maps did not win any, he became the topic on social media as the Facebook community clearly indicated that he deserved the awards but they couldn’t vote for him due to the issues they had with him.

While some expected the artiste to break due to the hate, Yo Maps emerged victorious and blessed the country with his emotional and irresistible song.

In the song, the singer
is telling people “Don’t kill my dream…Don’t take me back to my problems.

Some fans are now saying the talented artiste shouldn’t be slept on as he has potential to fly the Zambian flag higher musically.

Twenty four hours after the release, the song has over 500K views on YouTube and is now the most searched song on Boomplay.
