Hakainde Hichilema has declared that he will take his party, UPND into government this year.

Hichilema told hundreds of Choma Residents Tuesday night who had been waiting to welcome him that he will win the August general election whatever happens.

“This year, 2016 come what may, we are getting into government, ” Hichilema told the cheering crowd which chanted anti-Edgar Lungu slogans.

He urged residents to continue registering as Voters and ensure that they turn up in numbers to vote.

Hichilema apologised for arriving late saying he was forced to make stopovers on the way to address the people who had lined up streets along the way.

This will be Hichilema’s fourth attempt at the  presidency having run in 2006,  2008, 2011 and most recently 2015.
