CAF confederations cup envoys Green Eagles Football club Coach Agrey Chiyangi has declared his team ready for tomorrow’s preliminary round fixture against Young Buffaloes of Eswatini.
Addressing the media at Choma’s independence stadium this afternoon, Chiyangi said the players are tactically ready for their maiden campaign in Continental football.
Chiyangi said the team is focusing on winning at home before they travel for a return fixture next week.
He said the players had a lot of exposure from the Botswana training games and they look geared for the game.
“My boys are ready,there focus is to win at home before we travel to swaziland,” Says Chiyangi.
Chiyangi charged that the Botswana training was not about winning games but exposing Kawale boys to international assignments.
He said the new players are doing well but they have work hard.
Chiyangi further explained that Striker Tapson Kaseba is in the team and ready to play tomorrow.
He said defender Bonface Sunzu had light trainings yesterday and doctors will give directive of his fitness tomorrow.
And Young Buffaloes FC coach Dominic Kunene said his team expects a tough against their Zambian opposition.
He said the team will be cautious not to concede a goal away.
Kunene said its easy to prepare for any Zambian team because its a country with talented players.
Kunene said his team has no injury as most of the players that traveled are fit for the game tomorrow.
Choma’s Independence stadium will host CAF confederation cup fixture between Green Eagles FC and Young Buffaloes of Eswatini tomorrow.
The return fixture will be played at Trade fair Grounds on the 5th of December, 2018.
