Al Nassr has reportedly decided to terminate Cameroon’s captain Vicent Aboubakar’s contract in order to free up a space for new signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Aboubakar, formerly of Porto and Besiktas has spent 18 months with Al-Nassr and has scored 13 goals in 39 appearances across all competition, including four strikes in 12 games so far for this season.
African football giants reports that after weeks of speculation, it was confirmed last week that Ronaldo had signed for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr after his second stint with Manchester United ended bitterly.
Earlier last week, Ronaldo was given a huge welcome by his new club and fans as the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was officially unveiled by Al Nassr.
