UPND’s Simusamba buried, described as fearless leader

The late Deputy Secretary General for UPND Kuchunga Simusamba has been buried at Memorial Park in Lusaka.

Simusamba died on Thursday last week and his burial took place today, Monday, December 14, 2015.

UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema who led hundreds of party members described Simusamba as one of the gallant and fearless leaders of the party. He said Simusamba will be greatly missed not only by his family but with entire UPND members.

Hichilema offered his heartfelt condolences to Simusamba’s family and friends. He said the party did what it could to support him during his illness.

“We did all we could within our powers and means to support him during his illness, but as they say God has his own ways of doing things,” Hichilema said. “He ran the race and it is time we continue with that which he fought for.”
