As we reported early in the week, May 14, 2015, UPND Vice president Richard Kapita has just officially quit the opposition party and his position to join the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) at a rally which is being addressed by President Lungu in Mwinilunga.

The former UPND Vice President has urged the PF to work with new members to support President Lungu for him to continue ruling beyond 2016.

Welcoming Kapita, President Edgar Lungu said Kapita was a factor in the UPND for the past 17 years the party has been in existence.
