unnamed (4)UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema led the campaign team today as they started off in Isoka, then travelling on to Mafinga

Speaking at a public rally held at President’s Park in Isoka Mr. Hichilema first thanked the thousands of Isoka residents for finding time to listen to his 10 Point Plan to deliver economic liberation.

He sent a special message to civil servants in the area, assuring them of better working conditions under his leadership. He further disclosed that he is aware that there has been victimisation of UPND sympathisers within the police force and other security wings, as well as among teachers but that they should not be discouraged, adding that he will ensure that anyone unjustly fired by the PF will be reinstated once UPND is elected on 11 August 2016.unnamed (2)

And running mate Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba said President Edgar Lungu must be ashamed of himself for failing to fulfil his loans promises to marketeers. Mr. Mwamba nevertheless encouraged residents to remain hopeful as a UPND government led by Mr. Hichilema will quickly get to work to ensure affordable loans are available to them.

MMD President Dr. Nevers Mumba said that Zambians have decided to rally behind the UPND President Hakainde Hichilema due to his economic expertise. While UDF President Miles Sampa called on youths to vote for Mr. Hichilema if they want jobs, given President Lungu’s clear failure on that score.

  6. Zambia is where it is, not because of the leadership but a people that ushered in the PF and ECL. To expect ECL to perform any better is being unfair to the man. To have a changed mindset, as a people, is what will drive this country forward. Short of that, we will always choose the same type of leadership and expect different results-which is impossible. It is actually defined as lunacy.

  9. so iwe ka mj, you want others to be killed when you don’t want those from the party you support not to be mashed. If kill wait on your killers too. Nothing like forgive, you only forgive when someone is showing trends of change but for the president I don’t see such trends. He passed deliberately at the opposition secretariat to cause havoc, he allowed his people to stone a helicopter behavior of late stone age, khoi khoi manners…If the opposition has guns let them unleash starting with you who can’t reason nicely
