More trouble for Lungu, another official summoned by ACC

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has reportedly summoned Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit Coordinator Chanda Kabwe for questioning- Zambia Watchdog reports.

According to the report, a forensic audit which was recently carried out at the institution revealed gross mismanagement and theft of public resources.

However, the paper states that ruling party Patriotic Front (PF) cadre Max Chongu is claiming that the ACC is targeting President Lungu’s strong pillars.

It is believed that the plot is to frustrate and crush all those pledging 100% allegiance and loyalty to President Edgar Chagwa Lungu so that they feel betrayed and abandoned to the extent that they stop defending and protecting Lungu making him vulnerable to attack ahead of the National Party Conference.

Meanwhile, Koswe recently reported that Chanda was drawing huge allowances from DMMU in the name of travelling to rural areas for donations when in actual fact, he was allegedly buying libido for a prominent socialite, Iris Kaingu.

Apparently, Lungu recently acussed the anti graft body for working day and night to remove him from power.

His sentiments drew wide condemnations, with some quarters saying Lungu shouldn’t worry if he has no skeleton to hide.
