There will be no UPND in Western province after 2021 election, former UPND Vice president Richard Kapita told President Lungu today.

Zambian Eye’s Asa Manda reports from Mongu that Kapita said this at Mongu Airport when he welcomed President Lungu who is on two day work visit in Western province.

Kapita who is Western province Minister said following development taking place in the province people have moved from the opposition UPND to the ruling party, PF.

The provincial Minister a once close ally of Hakainde Hichilema and one of the first members of Parliament for UPND in North Western province assured President Lungu of victory in 2021.

Kapita said this will show from the three by-election results in Western province. He said people are appreciative of the development being done in the province and want to be part of the country.

When HH says things like he’s going to win the next election because of the state of economy due to PF, this message board is filled with all the irrational tribalists who say he’s so arrrogant, so full of himself, blah, blah, blah. Yet when some bootlicking politician makes comments like there will be no UPND in Western Province after 2021, it’s crickets? Not a word.
