The Clergy have abandoned the Bible to attacking my govt – Sata

President Michael Sata says some clergymen have abandoned the pulpit and are resorting to attacking his PF government.
Mr. Sata says some clergy are accusing his government of not fulfilling the election campaign promises. He dispelled the allegations and challenged those claiming that the PF government is not fulfilling its campaign promises to prove their allegations.
He also dismissed claims that the PF government has compromised the fight against corruption by appointing people that are corrupt and facing corruption charges. He challenged those claiming so to prove and he will take action.
A number of people are now showing dissatisfaction with the new government saying it is abandoning the campaign promises.
President Sata was speaking on Thursday at State House when he swore in Margaret Miyoba as permanent secretary for Luapula province and Dr. Felix Phiri as director of human and social development policy analysis at Cabinet office.
