Tanzania’s president now bans miniskirts

Tanzania President John Magufuli has banned miniskirts, short dresses and other sexy clothes charging that such kind of dressing encourages the spread of HIV/Aids.

Last month he banned a provocative dance called Twerking made famous by Miley Cyrus.

President Magufuli’s antics such as riding an Eagle Bicycle to save fuel, banning lunch, water or fruitree for civil servants and banning independence celebrations have proved popular with many Zambians.

Tanzanian women have since been given three weeks to rid their wardrobes of the “offending” garments according to local media.
