Talking Politics: This is the right time for PF to repent and reform

Its Time for PF To repent: Sincerity alone doesn’t matter or help, one can be so sure that he is heading north when in fact he is heading south. PF is so sure that they are doing right when in fact they are doing wrong.

Therefore PF must know that what matters is not sincerity but truth and facts. There is no doubt that they are headed for doom.

PF’s poor performance in the just ended by-elections is a sign that people are losing confidence in the government because of the unfulfilled promises which they made to them during the run up to elections.

I even wonder why the PF think people should continue voting for the party that has made the cost of living so high.

Instead of delivering a people driven constitution within 90 days as promised,we see a government that wants to manipulate the constitution to favour their selfish interests, instead of delivering to the people the Freedom of Information Bill, they are busy arresting journalists and denying the opposition their democratic rights of association and assembly, rights which God has bestowed upon every human being.

These are the things which are making PF unpopular, and I can assure you no matter how they will construct the roads and infrastructure yet ignore the very things that matter most to the common man they will not have the favour of man.

Its shameful for the minister of justice Wynter Kabimba to hail derogatory statements at the very office that fought for transparency by declaring the PF winners of general elections even when it wasn’t necessarily by reasonable majority (40%) will of the people just because they refused to rig the elections.

We are aware of how the PF forced themselves on the people of Livingstone. The ECZ should be protected by the government in power and all law abiding citizens in its quest to execute its duties diligently and serve the nation as well as contribute to the growing democracy.

I think its time for catholic church to equally come up and help clean the mess they contributed in putting up such a God forsaken government in power.

How long is the catholic church going to keep quiet, knowing too well that the PF has committed serious sins against its own people and as well as God.

Thomas Jefferson, signatory of the Declaration of USA independence, said: “the spirit of the times may alter, will alter.

Our rulers will become corrupt, our people careless. A single zealot may commence persecution, and better men be his victims.”

Zambians should not allow these people in power to lose a single sense of the fact that they are employees to us and that the Zambians are the employers, therefore must respect the rule of law and the wishes of the people.

Its common knowledge that PF wants to rule by force against the will of the people. This is the reason why they allow their thugs to fire guns on the polling day (judge Ngoma) and now threaten ECZ officials.

We have said it time and again that substituting maize and fuel subsidies to finance induced by elections is the most stupid thing any government can do.

This will make PF lose their pupolarity faster and when they begin losing they must show democratic maturity and concede defeat in these induced by elections.

The effect of the removal of subsidies is yet to be felt and the people will vote more against the PF, and we expect the PF to respect the will of the people. Say so because Zambians are still feeding on subsidised maize.

Finally every Zambian must be on guard for the wish of the majority to be respected, that’s to Ireen Mambilima who has showed the boldness to stick to the rule of law.

As to my fellow Zambians it can never be too often repeated, that the time for fixing every essential right on legal basis is while we still have honest people like Mambilima.
