SuperSport to broadcast Nkana game from Abidjan
SuperSport has confirmed that it will broadcast today`s crucial 2014 CAF Confederation Cup match between Nkana and Ivorian club Sewe Sport to be played in Abidjan, reports Norman Kapata
Super Sport Marketing Manager for Southern Africa Marlon Kananda made the revelation in a media statement.
Kananda disclosed that the match to be played at Stade Augustine Denise will start at 17:00 hrs Zambian time.
He further disclosed that the match will be on Dstv SuperSport 9 and Select 1 on GOtv.
Meanwhile Nkana are eying a semi final berth in the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup as they face Ivorian Champions Sewe Sport in the two teams’ final Group B match at Stade Augustine Denise in Abidjan today Saturday.
The FAZ 2013 Super League Champions must beat Sewe Sports to advance to the last four of the second best African club competition.
The two teams drew 1-all in the reverse fixture played in May in Kitwe.
Nkana are second in Group B on seven points, one behind Al Ahly but are a point ahead of third places Sewe and Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia are bottom with five points.
Nkana are in Ivory Coast minus suspended winger Simon Bwalya and injured defender Christopher Munthali.
However, star striker Ronald “Sate Sate” Kampamba has been declared fit for the match against Sewe in the midst of injury concerns.
Winger Shadreck Musonda is back after missing Nkana’s 1-0 Group B home win over Egyptian giants Al Ahly on August 9 due to suspension.
