Patriotic Front Secretary General Wynter Kabimba has directed all party structures to immediately embark on countrywide party mobilisation activities as a way of ensuring the re-election of President Michael Sata and the PF in 2016, reports Zambian National Broadcasting Corporation.
Mr Kabimba, says mobilising the party and recruiting new members is the only way that will ensure that the party wins the forthcoming general elections with a landslide victory.
He has also called on all party members to remain united and disciplined as the government is working towards bettering the lives of all Zambians.
He revealed that the PF emerged as the most strong and successful opposition political party in the run up to the 2011 general elections because members embraced the values of unity, discipline and tolerance.
Mr Kabibmba said this on Saturday at the Kafue Civic Center when he officially opened a meeting which was attended by PF Kafue Constituency and District officials as well as representatives of the Lusaka Province executive.
He urged all PF youths in bus stations, markets and on the streets must exhibit exemplary behavior in an effort to recruit as many voters as possible to the ruling party.
The PF Secretary General later chaired a closed door meeting for the three party organs which lasted over two hours and attended by Central Province Minister Obvious Mwaliteta.
