FAZ reports that the visitors opened the scoring in the 4th minute via Youssef Mouihidi who converted from the penalty spot following Christopher Munthali’s ill timed challenge on Lasaad Jaziri inside the box.

The lead was cancelled six minutes later by Ronald Kampamba who fired the ball passed Aymen Mathlouthi despite pressure from Hamdi Naguez. Kampamba was put through on goal by Masauso Zimba.

Festus Mbewe gave Nkana the lead for the first time in the 26th minute when he combined with Claude Bwalya, his effort coming off the post before hitting the back of the net.

On the half hour mark Sofiane Moussa restored parity with a sublime effort from close range after getting the better of Amos Simwanza who otherwise had a good day at the office.

Simon Bwalya scored a beauty with his head as he rose highest inside the area to turn in Masauso Zimba’s cross from the left flank in the 48th minute. Christopher Munthali put the game beyond Etoile when he scored from a follow up after Mbewe’s effort came off the woodwork in the 56th minute.

The last goal of the match was a penalty converted in additional time by Mouihidi.

“This is a good win for the team. It gives us the foundation to build on for our next match; we have picked lessons we shall use in the next game,” Nkana coach told fazfootball.com in a post-match interview.

The win means Nkana have four points from as many games. Nkana’s next match in the competition is at home to Egyptian outfit Ah Ahly during the weekend of 8th to 10th August
