Choma based musician Willy Ndhlovu Muleya aka ‘Real Jay’ has released a single that promotes male circumcision (MC), reports Zambian Eye Southern Province correspondent.
Real Jay also popularly known as “Munamusanza” has in collaboration with Macha Mission Hospital of Choma district released a hit song entitled “Twatapalulwa” translated as “If we don’t get circumcised”. The song is meant to promote male circumcision amongst youths.
The song caries a message on the need for men to get circumcised as it is important to their lives. Real Jay has come up with his usual style of emphasizing to his peers to ensure that they go for MC in order for them to reduce the chances of contracting sexually transmitted diseases.
His song urges the male folklore aged from 7 to work with Macha Mission Hospital health experts so as to prevent the contracting and spread of sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS.
He believes that the community involvement in the exercise will help husbands protect their wives from contracting cervical cancer.
Real Jay who sung songs like Ndimuna musanza, Mucenge Ngombe, Tucikuyeeya and kwati ciloto ft Baska is undoubtedly commanding the music circles in Southern Province.
His music has gone national such that it has received pub and radio air play in Lusaka, Central, Southern and Western provinces.
Real Jay revealed that his next album that will include songs like Meno Nchifuwa, Kabuca uleta tunji will be on the shelves very soon. The soft spoken artist’s music is a must have as he sings about Zambian lifestyles and the challenges.
