United Party for National Development (UPND) Spokesperson, Cornelius Mweetwa, alleges that some members of the party are receiving money from Patriotic Front (PF) members to sell out.

Mweetwa made the allegations when he featured on the Diamond Breakfast show this morning.

His sentiments came, few hours after Mweetwa had accused President Edgar Lungu of sending three ministers to persuade him to defect to the ruling party, PF.

Speaking during a press briefing in Choma yesterday, he said Lungu sent Lusaka Minister Bowman Lusambo, Mines Minister Richard Musukwa and Edify Hamukale to ‘bribe’ him out of his party and join PF.

Mweetwa said the three ministers promised him a top government post, from Lungu, if he defect to PF.
