Silly excuses from ZESCO

Editor,

Please keep me anonymous. I am greatly unhappy with the numerous silly Zesco excuses for switching certain areas off in the name of unknown faults.

It has become traditional for the failed power utility to be sending text messages to customers after switching them off, claiming an unknown fault has developed and that engineers were searching through to find the fault and rectify it.

I find that this new way of pacifying customers has become the way out to convincing them why load shedding now lasts as long as they decided. The faults have become too numerous and too frequent.

I wonder why we pay so much for no power at all. Can ERB tell us why we should continue living like this while a state owned utility is busy robbing us in broad day light?

I feel HH must quickly move in to sort out this mess.
