The outspoken MP said unlike UPND president Hakainde Hichilema, Lungu was a humble person who does not think he is supernatural human being.

He said he was not looking for a job but that he wanted to see a batter Zambia for all. He said Lungu was a person who listens to advice and is willing to learn.

Shakafuswa said the country is above tribal and regional boundaries.

Reacting to Shakafuswa’s decision, UPND Deputy Spokesperson¬†Cornelius Mweetwa said the move was unfortunate. Mweetwa who is also Choma Central MP said it is disheartening that Shakafuswa who won the seat on the UPND ticket is repaying the party in such a way.
