Seven year old boy saves 2 year old sister from burning house

A seven-year-old boy braved flames to save his two-year-old sister who was sleeping in the house as the fire swept through the property.

Nasiwayo fish farming group Group chairperson, Lukando Mutakatala confirmed the incident to ZANIS, identifying the girl as Nelly Kufekisa.

According to ZANIS, Mutakatala has explained that girl was rescued by a boy, who braved the inferno.

This happened in Nasiwayo area, on Sunday, April 2, 2023, around 16:00 hours.

The fire however destroyed all the property which was inside the house.

Mutakata added that the fire was accidentally started by a caretaker’s son, who was burning wasps near the roof of the house.

And Nalolo District Commissioner, Namatama Mupo, who has visited the area, has described the fire incident as unfortunate.
