Service Men arrest Utility Stars

Choma`s Zambia National Service ZNS Madala`s team has continued to set the pace in the Choma District Madala`s league after a 4-2 home comfortable win at the new refurbished Choma Independence Stadium on Sunday over stubborn Utility Stars fc in Choma.

The three-time Choma District Madala`s league Champions opened up a six-point lead at the summit of the Madala`s league table after their unbeaten run home win.

ZNS midfielder Mukuka Chileshe put the home-side ahead when he headed in a Dominic Ngwira cross after earlier hitting the post in the 8th minutes.

In-form Striker Sibanda Owen added ZNS ’s second and his seventh goal of the season in the 17th minute while Captain of the side Dominic Ngwira got the third one in the 73rd Minutes after a cross from Hard tackling defender Fred Mulope and the Utility Boys came fighting and got one through Legendary Morgan Hatowa who was put through by enterprising Utility Midfielder Alex in the eight box after a well calculated free kick and their pressurising again paid off when they scored a superb volley from Liverdage Mulinda in the 82nd of the match via a corner kick but ZNS wrapped the match in the 87th minute through Andrew Sipeka who .got the fourth goal of the day to what looked like the match of the weekend.

While at the Showground’s dust and dry grass particles were seen emanating in the skies when Hospital Warriors and Police Eagles battled for 2-2 score line.

While at Mawaggali B grounds Medical Stores losing streak continued when ‘the Stubborn Humanitarian’ World Vision Stars fc baptised them 2-0 on their own turf,

World Vision Technical Director Deacon Kenneth Simakapu said his side’s 2-0 away win over Medical Stores was not easy.

World Vision added more misery harm to Medical Stores continued losing streak in the Social Madala`s League .

“Beating Medical Stores at home is not easy,” Simakapu said in a post-match interview at Mawaggali grounds on Sunday afternoon.

“My team played well and we deserved the victory.

While at Shampande School grounds Veterans Madala`s fc thrashed Choma Day school teachers 3-2 their first win of the league
