Meanwhile, President Lungu has asked some opposition parties to stop abusing the name of late President Michael Sata.

He also reiterated his call on PF members to remain peaceful and not react to acts of provocation.

President Lungu said he will continue to preach non violence in the runup to the August 11 poll.

At the same event a consortium of 16 political parties endorsed the candidature of President Lungu.

  2. Ba Lungu kuwayawaya fye. Your Excellency, your responsility is not to preach nonviolence put as Commander in Chief, to ensure that the security wins are working 24/7 to ensure that there is peace. Preaching is for the pastors. Do you really understand your role as Commander in Chief? No wonder our country is on autopilot.

  3. ECL became PF President through violence. As such, ECL will always use violence to gain political mileage. Preaching nonviolence is purely lip service. ECL, if you are man enough, we need action from you. ECL, you are supposed to be the most powerful person in Zambia, use the powers vested in you to stop the violence, not only preaching, nonviolence.

  4. Ba Lungu you have disappointed us. We still remember how you cried like a possessed man at the funeral of Michael Sata. You duped us because we mistook you for a humble man. Looking back, we realise that those were tears of joy because you knew what you want. Ba Lungu, you need deliverance. The Holy Bible says “what does it profit man to win the whole world but lose his soul”.

  5. He is on his way to Chawama and later to Chimbokaila remand prison.
Who is he trying to entice with his baked lips? Zambians are tired of his poor leadership and have already made up their mind to vote for HH and the UPND.Finish

  8. mr President how do we scrutinize the candidates when you politicians are not giving us the message of hope, remember the projects where started by the Late sata and all you did was to release the money but again we are still paying a lot of loans….. you cabinet member are leaving everything to you… I wish you could work like Mwanawasa who never responded to critics but continued to work…. i feel the president should not mind about the opposition but just say what you will do.

  9. Yes candidates need to be scrutinised especially Lungu himself who is struggling with his health. We don’t want another funeral in state house.

  10. Lungu kuwayawaya fye. He claims to be popular in Lusaka but keeps on transporting cadres from every corner of Zambia to attend rallies so that people see that he is popular. Aba bena kuya bebele.
