Nkana and Zambia striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba has reportedly signed a three-year deal with South African Premier Soccer League side Platinum Stars.
The 20-year-old traveled to South Africa on Wednesday with a Nkana club official to agree terms.
Sources privy to the development have revealed that Kampamba has signed a deal reportedly worth US$70,000.
Platinum Stars will be Kampamba’s his first foreign stint after four years at Nkana.
Both Kampamba and Nkana club secretary Ken Mwansa could not be reached for a comment.
Kampamba was Zambia’s top scorer in the 2012 and 2013 season scoring 16 and 18 goals respectively.
He finished the 2014 season with 22 goals to his name; 14 in the league, five in Africa, one in Cup competition and two on international duty with Zambia.
Kampamba’s 18 goals last season propelled Nkana to a record 12th FAZ Super Division title and their first since 2002.
