Sata to campaign in Solwezi

President Michael Sata is expected to campaign for the Patriotic Front in Solwezi Central ahead of September 11 by-elections, reports Zambian Eye Correspondent.

The Head of State who had not been head speaking in public for almost three months until last weekend when he appeared in Mkushi South will make another appearance in Solwezi on Wednesday, the eve of the poll.

President Sata whose health has been a source of debate in the country only spoke for a few minutes in Mkushi saying he would visit the constituency when the PF candidate is elected.

Vice president Guy Scott who was in Solwezi on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 announced that President Sata will be visiting the District to campaign for the PF candidate.

Dr. Scott urged Solwezi residents to turn up in numbers and listen to President Sata. He also said that it is important that the PF wins the Solwezi Seat as it is one of the economic points of the country.
