Without the Media, Sata receives credentials from new Chinese Envoy

Without inviting the press, President Michael Sata again today received credentials from the new Chinese envoy.

At a short event, President Sata according to the source urged the new Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Youming Yang to work for the good of the two countries.

And presenting his credentials to President Sata, Youming hailed the cordial relations that have existed between Zambia and China over the past 50 years.

Youming is hopeful that he will contribute to the friendship and development of the two peoples.

The ceremony is said to have been witnessed by Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba and his Permanent Secretary George Zulu.

On Monday a muted video of President Sata swearing in two Supreme Court Judges was broadcast on government owned and controlled, ZNBC Television.
