Sata holds closed door meeting with govt and party officials in Ndola

President Michael Sata held closed door meeting with senior government and party officials in Ndola on the Copperbelt province, reports our Correspondent.

The Zambian leader who was making his third travel out of State House after three months of not seen in public flew to Ndola Friday morning.  By press time, we had not established the agenda of the Ndola meeting.

President Sata who was accompanied by his Wife, Dr. Christine Kaseba arrived in Ndola mid-morning. He proceeded straight to the Presidential Guest House where the meeting was held.

He was welcomed at the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe by Local Government Minister Emmanuel Chenda, Labour Minister Fackson Shamenda, other senior government officials and the Patriotic Front leadership.

President Sata later in the afternoon flew back to Lusaka. His governing party – PF on Thursday won three out of five seats previously held by the opposition during by-elections.
