Sata heads back home, describing EU-Africa Summit as a success

Zambian leader Michael Sata is headed for Zambia after attending a European Union – Africa Summit in Brussels, Belgium.

President Sata left Brussels Friday morning 8am local time via Amsterdam in the Netherlands. He has described the summit that closed on Thursday as a success.

While in Brussels, President Sata held bilateral talks at Justus Lipsius Building with Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland. The duo discussed matters of Trade and Investment as a follow up to the last meeting held when the Prime Minister visited Zambia in October 2013.

The Zambian leader also had a meeting with Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission at Berlaymont Building in Brussels where a wide range of issues were discussed among them being the negotiations on the Economic Partnership Agreement.
