Sata accuses GBM of trying to kill him on phone

Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba’s (GBM) worker, Carlos Ngoma, and his collegue Everest Chellah travelled to Lusaka two days ago on a mission to lie to President Sata that GBM wants to kill him so that he can become President.

GBM has opened a new shop in Mbala which is dealing in cement and iron roofing sheets where Carlos was employed, him being the most trusted of GBM’s employees.

The shop opened on 6th March 2014 and on 12th March 2014, the management for the shop discovered that Carlos had stolen K12,670 from the business.

Management made a decision to report the matter to the police but before that could happen, Carlos begged to reimburse the missing funds, which he did.

Carlos who has been driving a vehicle belonging to GBM’s nephew has been telling people in Mbala that he would fix GBM. A few days ago, Carlos left Mbala for Kasama where he met Chellah and others where a plan was hatched to travel to lusaka and lie to President Sata that GBM was plotting to kill him.

Unfortunately for Carlos, by the time he go to kasama, we had already heard about the things he was telling people in Mbala, so we impounded the vehicle he was using, which belongs to our MP’s nephew.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports from our colleagues in Lusaka suggest that they have already met the President and that the Head of Sate called GBM threatening him and has since mandated the defense minister, Edgar Lungu, to deal with the matter.
We hear GBM is very upset over the lies. As Patriotc Front (PF) members in Northern Province, we will be very shocked if the President can fall for these lies from cadres fighting GBM before checking them with his Office of the President (OP} in Mbala and Kasama.

Today OP officers from Lusaka joined their counterparts in Mbala to raid GBM’s hardware shop and took pictures. Not only has President Sata accused GBM of trying to kill him but meeting chief Nzombe who according to GBM last time he saw was in 2011 in the company of Sata.

We only hope that the reported call from the President to GBM on these lies is just a rumour. We are told there was an exchange of words between GBM and the boss. This was after the boss accused GBM of plotting to kill him. We are very sad with what is happening in our party and the President is being lied to. Why should anyone, want to kill the President, of what benefit?

GBM has stood with the President and we don’t understand why he wants to destroy this relationship. Even the issue of a by-election, PF will lose in Kasama Central if they expel GBM.
