Detained Mwense Council Chairperson and United Party for National Development (UPND) Deputy National Youth Chairperson, Stephen Chikota has expressed anger at the his continued detention.

Chikota has accused Luapula Provincial Minister Derrick Chilundika of being behind the illegal mining and theft of Sugilite in Muombe, Chembe District.

He has also accused the Police of releasing non-bbas that were earlier detained.

About a week ago Chikota was arrested over $30 million sugilite scandal.
