The Electoral Commission of Zambia ECZ is this afternoon expected to recieve re-printed ballot papers for polling stations that had ballots with errors.

ECZ Senior Public Relations Officer Sylvia Bwalya says ballots that were reprinted by Al Ghurair Printing company arrives at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport aboard Emirates Airline at about 14:35 hours.

Bwalya says ECZ engaged the same printer of Dubai to re-print the ballot papers with the same quantities which had errors.

She says the commission has since invited the accredited stakeholders who did the verification of ballot papers at the ECZ warehouse to witness the arrival of ballot papers at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

Among the polling station which had errors on ballot papers include those from Malole , Senanga , Mumbwa , Kasama and Gwembe.

Recently the ECZ conducted a verification exercise of ballot papers with accredited representatives of political parties for the 2016 General Election.
