If I did few things like make women of our age know it’s ok to join politics for good causes, and make Keembe a model for how things would be done by our politicians I will be happy. We serve them instead of serving us. Enough of that. And people in rural area have been taken for granted for so long. Sometime because they do no have a frame of reference,” Princess Kasune explained on a live texting programme on Zambia Eye’s Facebook Group.

She added; “Also by me being HIV positive I want to show pipo that you can be HIV positive and still be effective. I learnt of my statues in 1997 and am still here. Done more for my country and other developing countries than some of those leaders who are just in it for themselves.”

The 39 year old who has lived with HIV for the past 20 years is married to David Schoefernacker, an American. She said the family will be relocating to Zambia.
