President Lungu ready to resume work as he arrives back home

Lungu arrives homePresident Edgar Lungu arrived back home on Sunday from South Africa where he went for specialist treatment after he fell ill on Sunday last week while gracing a Women’s Day celebrations.

The Zambian Leader arrived at 3pm local aboard a Presidential Challenger Plane and told Reporters at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport that he was well and ready to resume work.

President Lungu also expressed sadness that there are some people who were wishing him ill, a situation he said was unfortunate. He however that many Zambians whom he said had been prayer for his recovery.

He was welcomed by Justice Minister Ngosa Simbyakula who was Acting President, Cabinet Ministers, Defence Chiefs and Senior Patriotic Front officials.
