Doctors treating the Zambian leader, Edgar Lungu have discharged him and certified him fit to resume work, State House Press Aide has said.

Amos Chanda says after a medical procedure conducted on March 13, 2015 the Doctors were satisfied and has given Lungu a go ahead to perform full duties as Head of State.

The Zambian President who had been admitted to a Pretoria Hospital is now making arrangements to travel back to Zambia.

Lungu has just been in office for two months after he was elected to take over from Michael Sata who died in October 28 in London after a long illness.

    • That’s a point and my thoughts too! Is this really a professional journalist? He should have edited his statement to make sure it makes sense in every respect. What a choice for special assistant for PR!

  4. Sorry, we now know too much to be cheated by ka Amos. Lungu can never and will never be fit enough to continue as president. His viral load is too high and his CD4 count too low and this problem gets exacerbated by the nature of the presidential work load, thanks to the WD nothing you can hide from us. Look, Lungu your president is HIV positive nothing wrong with that in itself, but because of heavy beer intake Lungu has not been consistent in taking his ART. He prefers beer! We might as well conclude that Lungu’s HIV status cannot be controlled anymore by the anti viral drugs because the virus has become resistant to them. This means that his CD4 count can only continue to go down and his viral load with re activated HI virus can only continue to go up dangerously. combine this with his office work load per day Lungu can only get back to state house to continue along a path to the grave yard the shortest time! LUNGU ALSO LOOKS A LITTLE BIT DULL OR MAY BE POWER IS TOO SWEET AND he DOESNT MIND HASTENING HIS MATCH TO THE GRAVE BECAUSE THOSE DEAD NEVER REALIZE THEY ONCE LIVED, OR THAT THEY LIVED A SWEET LIFE AND THAT THEY COULD HAVE LIVED LONGER HAD THEY NOT MADE WRONG DECISIONS.

    • I see nothing wrong with this statement because this is the naked truth, Lungu can ignore this at his own peril. HH doesn’t have to reveal this information even if he had it. Lungu himself has revealed it in the interest of self proclaimed transparency policy. Once information has been revealed to another person, it’s no longer a secret, Lungu’s status is now public information. The problem with Pathetic Fools is that they like to live in a state of self denial and bury their heads in sand like ostriches!
