The Zambia Police is demanding for documents from the Linyungadambo pertaining the Barotseland Agreement of 1964.
This follows a letter the Barotseland Activist wrote to President Hakainde Hichilema last week over the resolution of the 2012 meeting that the region be separation as it was before independence in 1964.
According to CBC News, the Linyungandambo spokesperson Samuel Kalimukwa on Friday morning availed himself for questioning by the police in Mongu over the Barotseland Agreement of 1964.
Speaking after the interrogation, Kalimukwa said he had given the police some documents which they needed and he further said police are still demanding for other documents.
He also disclosed that the Police want to know the leader of Linyungadambo and it’s sturacture.
