Police nab Soldiers, Witchdoctor over ‘ritual’ murders

Four people have been arrested and jointly charged with seven counts of murder which happened in Lusaka’s George compound between 16th March and 17th April 2016.

The four have been identified as Luck Siame, Lewis Chishimba Bwalya, Christopher Kasapo and Elvis Nyanga.

According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson Charity Chanda, The accused include two army soldiers, a Zambia Air force civilian employee and a traditional doctor.

habda disclosed that all the murders which the accused have been charged with were committed in a similar manner by crushing the left side of the head, removing body parts and later dumping the deceased near their homes or a nearby drinking place. In all the incidences, a stone was found near the deceased’s body.

The four are appearing in court this afternoon, 10th May 2016.

  1. We need justice to prevail here. We need quick justice to this effect. We cannot afford to lose people by ritual killings. This unfortunate . we need them to be sentenced to death by hanging. Imagine security officers to behave in that way . Oooh my God may the soul of those that were killed rest in eternal peace

  8. Elvis Nyanga! That quite man I found when I was locked up in Solwezi cells during shishita. Am very confused. Justice should prevail here.

  10. torture them, let them point out who sent them.what is so difficult in doing so? are you also part of them? they are enough evidence.after disclosing their master, then burn them alive.we don’t entertain such rubbish.if you fail to do that, then, it means that, you are also involved simple.
