Former State House Commissioner’s Son arrested for abducting a Chirundu man

Police in Chirundu has arrested two men for abducting a Chirundu resident, reports Zambian Eye Correspondent.

Humphury Museba the son of the former State House Police Commissioner and his friend Owen Ndebele of Lusaka were arrested on August 31, 2014 for abducting Elliam Nkoma of Chirundu and for being in possession of fire arm.

It is allegedly that the two men who were driving a black Toyota chaser registration number ABX 4328 are believed to have been trailing Nkoma who was coming from Lusaka and only managed to get hold of him while in Chirundu at his home and ordered him to accompany them. The two are claiming Nkoma owe them some money.

The duo forced Nkoma into their car and drove into the bush then beat him, confiscated his cell phones and bundle him into the car boot and drove off along Chirundu, Lusaka high way heading to Lusaka around 16.30 hours.

According to a source at the Police source Nkoma had hidden another cell phone in his bombasa and that’s how he managed to contact police who rushed to go and rescue him.

The two men have since been detained at Chirundu Police Station and they will appear in court soon and their car is packed at the police station.
