Police arrest Lusaka Man for defiling his 2 year old grand-daughter

Police in Lusaka has arrested Mabvuto Chunga aged 30 of Lusaka’s Chelstone Township for allegedly having defiled his grand-daughter aged 2 years.

It is alleged that on 11th September, 2014 between 13:00 hours and 14:00 hours, the victim went to the suspect’s bedroom where the suspect took advantage and defiled her whilst the mother was preparing lunch.

Police Public Relations Officer Esther Mwaata Katongo confirmed this in a statement to Zambian Eye Friday. Ms Katongo said the mother only discovered that the child was defiled when she was bathing her as she saw blood coming out of her private parts.

In a similar development, we have arrested a 20 year old man identified as Gift Simwanza, 20 for allegedly defiling his 5-year-old young sister of Kitwe’s Zamtan Compound.
The incident happened on the 11th September, 2014 around 14:00 hours.
