Police arrest 4 ‘Koswe’ admins

Police in Lusaka have arrested and detained four people in connection with the Facebook page called ‘Koswe’.

The suspected ‘Koswe’ Page admins were arrested by the Zambia Police in conjunction with ZICTA.

According to a highly placed source, the four admins who have been identified as Liswaniso Songiso, 31, Patrick Mweetwa, 29, Derrick Munshya, 35 and Emmanuel Kamosha, 37, were arrested with the help of Chinese experts at Huawei who managed to track them remotely.

Koswe has been publishing articles which some section of society have said to be false and malicious against the ruling PF.

The four are said to be residents of Solwezi District in Northwestern Province.

The admins of Koswe were reportedly tracked down after an extensive investigation that started last year in August.

The infamous page has so far been deleted from Facebook as the owners remain locked up. The four were arrested on Wednesday in Solwezi but transported to Lusaka on Saturday April 27, 2019.
