Human Rights Activist Laura Miti is still protesting against Chama Fumba’s appointment in the ministry.
Miti says she can not believe the number of people who think it’s ‘OK’ for the President to appoint friends and loyalists in senior civil service positions.
“I can’t believe the number of people who think it’s OK for the President to appoint friends and loyalists in senior civil service positions because he needs his people there.
“More troubling is it seems this can be ANY loyal person. Competence does matter.
Oh motherland.” Miti said
Last week Tuesday, December 20, 2022 President Hakainde Hichilema appointed and swore in Pilato as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Art.
