The ruling Patriotic Front has threatened to expel Kelvin Fube Bwalya from the party for declaring interest in challenging President Edgar Lungu at the 2020 PF convention.

PF Lusaka provincial interim secretary Kennedy Kamba has warned Bwalya better known as KBF to stay away from the PF convention in 2020.

And the PF Secretary General has declared that KBF can’t contest the presidential elections because according to the PF Constitution, he doesn’t qualify.

Almost all Provincial Chairmen for the PF have issued uniform message that KBF shouldn’t show himself at PF’s 2020 convention.

And Addressing the media in Lusaka on Thursday April 25 2019, PF provincial chairman Paul Moonga explained that KBF has been quoted in some sections of the media challenging the head of state to hand over power to him despite not qualifying for the position.

He said President Lungu is firmly in charge and that his roots in the PF are unshaken further urging KBF to contest any other position at the next party convention.
