‘PF guilty of electoral malpractice’

Governance, Elections, Advocacy and Research Services (GEARS) Initiative has released a report in which it cites the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) as the main culprit in the electoral malpractice during the Roan Parliamentary by-elections.

According to a report by GEARS, the recently held Roan Parliamentary by elections recorded the highest number of malpractices in recent years.

The report shows excessive distribution of cash, food stuffs and alcohol to the electorate by the participating political parties with a primary view of blackmailing them.

Gears Executive Director McDonald Chipenzi notes with regret that churches were used as campaign platforms by various politicians.
