PF General Conference is underway

The General Conference for the ruling Patriotic Front is underway at Mulungushi Rock of Authority in Kabwe.

Party Chairperson I none Win a is chairing the proceedings.

Interim party president Guy Scott had not arrived at the venue by press time. Edgar Lungu was the only presidential candidate at the venue. Nine candidates are aspiring for the party top position.

The proceedings will start with accreditation, it hoped that the President will be in to open the event. Voting will then start.

There are however reports that a screte accreditation is taking place in town.
