‘PF’ cadre arrested for harassing a civil servant on political grounds

Police have arrested a ‘Patriotic Front’ cadre Charles Kakula who lead the attack on a government employee on political grounds.

This follows a video which went viral, in which alleged PF cadres led by Kakula harassed a civil servant accusing her of being a UPND supporter.

According to police, Kakula is in custody while investigations are continuing.

Meanwhile, Secretary to the Cabinet Dr. Simon Miti has directed his Deputy to immediately discipline the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works and Supply for failing to stop PF cadres from harassing an employee.
