HH addressing a rally in Katimamulilo

Opposition UPND president Hakainde Hichilema aka HH Sunday afternoon addressed a huge rally in Katimamulilo where he declared that the power of the people will prove Gun culture wrong.

HH whose supporters and himself has been running battles with the state police  the last two days says Sesheke people will show it via a ballot on Tuesday.

Speaking at the rally, Hichilema said no sane person will cast a vote for PF after what the ruling party had exhibited in Sesheke.

Sesheke goes to the polls Tuesday in a by-election that has been marred by violence.

HH waves at his supporters

And on his facebook page, Hichilema wrote:

Thank you Katima Mulilo ward of Sesheke constituency. You gave us matching orders. And we shall follow them closely.

Like we said; guns and machetes on innocent people, are used by clueless people. Your job is to work flat out to kick out any traces of them in this constituency.

Where they take guns, we will take love and development, that is all.

Zambia does not need guns to fight poverty, it needs men and women with valour to redeem its run down economy and we can state here that we are part of such a progressive team.

With only a day to go, we appeal that bana ba hesu, bana ba ma lozi, kaufela, vote for Romeo Kang’ombe and join us in victory celebration.

Your vote against the gun and brutal culture will prove our people power, your power and our land.

We love this country so dearly and anyone who loves it, must work to unite, develop it and not what we are currently witnessing.

May God bless you all.

Hakainde Hichilema.
